I recommend Strive Dog Food

My final favorite dog food is Strive by 4 Health, sold at our local Tractor Supply Stores. During 2020 - 2024 I fed Strive dog food (blue and red bags) to my litters of Belgian Malinois and their mothers.   I chose this food because it is a nutrient rich 30/20 food with multi meat source and rice, that I could pick up in person anytime from TS.  I found it to be a good starter food for 6 week old pups because it is 45 pounds of food for $60.  This mattered to me because feeding growing litter of puppies is expensive!

As you know I feed 30/20 dry dog foods to my dogs and pups in training.  My mothers did well with strive while nursing and staying fit.   When feeding a developing puppy under age 8 months old I use Vital Pet Life Fish Oil supplement (Salmon/Pollock).  This supplement is available for you to purchase on my Amazon product link page.   Otherwise no other supplementation was needed.

Strive has 2 Formulas that are 30/20 foods.  Today I recommend Strive but no longer feed it to my dogs in training.  My clients with my Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds continue to feed Strive dog food today.  My clients like that their dog can eat both formulas.  Allowing them to provide variety.  Each cup offers  448 k cals and are 30 percent protein and 20 percent fat.  Multi animal meat sources, Chicken, pork, chicken meal, whole grain brown rice, ground white rice. 

Get the blue or red bag.  Not the orange one!
